The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to pinpoint clients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans aimed at supporting their mental health journeys.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, catering to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and supportive group sessions, fostering a sense of community while addressing common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive and cohesive care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and care is accessible.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical knowledge and team collaboration.

• Stay current with the latest research, trends, and developments in mental health therapy to ensure patient care is informed by best practices.

As a therapist at Brave Recovery, you will engage with clients struggling with emotional difficulties, behavioral issues, and substance use, providing them with the support and strategies needed for recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and culturally competent therapeutic approaches.

• Proven skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly to a diverse clientele.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, paired with a strong adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with general computer applications to maintain effective client records and manage cases efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, enhancing clinical expertise and understanding.

• At least two years of experience in a similar therapeutic role, demonstrating competency in a wide range of therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
