Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based techniques to identify their needs and concerns.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address developmental stages and individual family dynamics.
\n
• Provide engaging and effective therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to manage common mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen the support networks around our young clients, equipping parents and guardians with the necessary tools to aid in their child’s healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support services.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for adolescents facing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders and available therapeutic options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and expertise enhancement.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices within the fields of child and adolescent mental health, ensuring the delivery of optimal treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents presenting with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. Your focus will be on building rapport and trust with young patients and their families, fostering a nurturing therapeutic environment where they can express their challenges openly.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in California.

• Strong foundation in understanding child and adolescent mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a genuine, compassionate approach centered on the needs of young clients.

• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
