Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate the needs of our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the specific needs and challenges of children and adolescents in care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate developmental considerations and target family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a variety of mental health concerns, enhancing the emotional and psychological well-being of young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to establish a nurturing and supportive home environment conducive to healing.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights on treatment progress.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families about specific mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering understanding and resilience.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while managing electronic health records (EHR) competently.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure ongoing professional development and contribute to organizational goals.

• Stay current with research advancements and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to inform and enhance your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. You will engage with young clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including emotional distress, behavioral issues, and developmental concerns, aiming to promote their overall well-being and facilitate positive outcomes in their lives. Your work is crucial in helping these individuals navigate their struggles, empowering them with skills to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist .

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and comprehensive strategies for effective treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, alongside a firm commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
\n
• Competence in electronic health record systems and computer applications, facilitating efficient documentation and communication.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute to and benefit from a multidisciplinary team approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience dedicated to providing therapy and support to children and adolescents.

• Previous experience in delivering both individual and family therapy is highly valued.

• Demonstrated familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and strategies to support children in distress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
