Work Environment\n

This is a remote position within an outpatient office setting, designed to facilitate flexible work arrangements while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality patient care. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account developmental stages, family dynamics, and socio-cultural factors.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, understanding, and support among family members.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, addressing both mental and emotional health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and safe intervention for young patients.

• Educate children and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on young individuals, ages 3-18, who present with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will work closely with families to create a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages healing and development. The emphasis on individualized care ensures that each patient receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic best practices.

• Extensive experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, child-centered approach that fosters trust and rapport.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
