Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that take into account the young patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the challenges faced by young individuals, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and family therapy sessions.

• Work closely with parents and caregivers, providing family therapy to foster a nurturing environment and promote healthy communication.

• Collaborate effectively with our team of child psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment continuity.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring immediate and effective response.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We primarily serve children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive symptoms, ADHD, conduct disorders, and adjustment issues. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic space where young individuals feel comfortable discussing their thoughts and feelings while receiving targeted, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with relevant evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy services to children and adolescents.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on a child-centered and compassionate approach to therapy.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with children, teenagers, and their families in a therapeutic setting.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
