Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to guide the understanding of their conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that identify specific goals, therapeutic interventions, and measurable outcomes tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Provide a range of counseling services including individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy sessions that employ appropriate therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure integrated care, participating in case conferences and utilizing collaborative documentation practices.

• Safeguard client confidentiality by meticulously maintaining and documenting client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, common conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues. By understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients, you will foster a safe and supportive environment that empowers them to confront their emotional struggles and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, with familiarity in utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to support treatment goals.

• Strong competencies in evidence-based approaches to mental health treatment, ensuring effective and appropriate care for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
