Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on providing counseling services to youth, many of whom confront a myriad of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our clinic serves a diverse population hailing from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring you to be culturally competent and adaptable in your approach. Sensitivity to the unique needs and experiences of each client is paramount as you work to empower them towards recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Proven skills as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) are highly regarded.

• At least two (2) years of experience in social work or mental health counseling; five (5) years of experience is considered a strong advantage.

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities are essential for effective client and team interactions.

• Familiarity and proficiency with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are necessary for documentation and communication.
