Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, history, and treatment goals.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate healing and growth.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are sensitive to each client's cultural background and specific concerns.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of each client session in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
\n
• Provide bilingual (Spanish and English) therapy services, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
\n
• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and contribute to team knowledge.
\n
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote mental health awareness and accessibility.
\n
• Be proactive in following up with clients and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population primarily consisting of adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and individual differences will be essential in building rapport and achieving successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in California.
\n
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, working with various age groups.
\n
• Commitment to understanding and accommodating individual and cultural needs within therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Thorough training in therapeutic methodologies such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a basic competence with Microsoft Office and related software.
\n
• A valid driver's license and car insurance for any required in-person sessions.
\n
• Willingness to provide therapy during flexible and extended hours, including at least two evenings each week and one weekend day.

• Dedication to maintaining regular attendance and punctuality as an essential job function.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specialized populations or areas, including trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Previous experience as an in-network provider with insurance panels.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a sign-in bonus for successful candidates, along with opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
