Ascove Fitness and Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient clinic in Front Royal, Virginia. Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Front Royal, where your workweek will run from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists, in a supportive and collegial atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized care plans to patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring a tailored rehabilitation process that adapitates to each person's progress and changing needs.
• Manage a suitable patient load that allows you to provide sufficient time and expertise to each patient, enhancing their recovery experience.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to apply appropriate therapeutic interventions directly supported by clinical evidence.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate mobility and pain management while educating patients about their conditions.
• Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical solutions as effective treatment strategies, actively minimizing reliance on prescription medications where possible.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly and coordinating care with other team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering seamless information flow.
• Promote an active lifestyle through personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Provide thorough education and motivational support to patients, empowering them throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele predominantly consists of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will work closely with individuals of various age groups, each requiring unique rehabilitation strategies based on their physical capabilities and personal goals. Your role will directly impact their journey toward improved mobility, enhanced physical health, and the restoration of their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Proven capability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software for documentation, with a preference for experience with WebPT.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and practices supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly within orthopedic therapy.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
• Experience in collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
