Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Deliver hands-on care, applying a variety of orthopedic techniques and manual therapy modalities to improve mobility and functionality.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation tools and technology, including EMR software such as Web PT, for tracking patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Encourage adherence to prescribed home exercises and wellness programs, adjusting them as needed based on patient feedback and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, motivating them throughout their recovery process while educating them about their conditions and treatment options.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment methods and modify plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating insights from specialists as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will work with individuals recovering from sports injuries, joint replacements, fractures, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will be instrumental in guiding these patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, regain their functional abilities, and enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with additional training in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in EMR software, particularly Web PT, for documenting services and tracking patient progress accurately.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy techniques supported by recent research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings with a focus on non-surgical rehabilitation methods.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively handle a diversified caseload while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Experience utilizing treatment modalities to address muscle strengthening, flexibility, and coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and continuing education opportunities to support your professional development.
