Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Front Royal, Virginia. You will work Monday to Friday, within a 40-hour shift format, in an uplifting environment designed to promote healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, analyzing their medical history, physical condition, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' goals, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to their specific conditions.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and exercises to assist patients in restoring function, improving mobility, and alleviating pain.
• Provide education and hands-on training to patients and their caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and home adjustment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy and patient care.
• Exhibit superior customer service by establishing strong relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy, and ensuring their comfort during treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with a broader healthcare team to maximize overall patient outcomes, actively participating in case discussions and treatment strategy meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass treating a diverse array of patient populations, which includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. You will foster long-term relationships with these individuals, adapting treatment plans to fit their unique needs and helping them achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy; licensure in Virginia is a must.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is essential.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with patients and caregivers.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including documentation systems and basic word processing.
• A passion for building strong connections with patients and a commitment to enhancing their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific rehabilitation techniques relevant to orthopedics, such as manual therapy or post-operative protocols, would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and up-to-date continuing education in physical therapy.
• Experience in community outreach and engagement, promoting wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
