Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including comprehensive history reviews, assessments, and documentation of findings to establish effective treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Actively involve patients and their families in treatment discussions by explaining assessment results and collaboratively setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities and protocols in accordance with patients' evolving needs and conditions, while adjusting interventions based on ongoing assessment and response to therapy.
• Work synergistically with other healthcare professionals to modify care plans as necessary and ensure comprehensive patient management, documenting any changes in patient conditions effectively.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring smooth transitions for patients returning to daily activities, and maintain detailed records of care provided.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity standards, keep an accurate schedule, and demonstrate punctuality in meetings and team activities.
• Participate in marketing initiatives geared towards community outreach and patient education, helping to promote clinic services and enhance access to care.
• Engage in departmental goal-setting and improvements, adhere to compliance standards, and contribute to patient satisfaction and healthcare quality measures.
• Take charge of your professional development through ongoing education and mentorship, guiding emerging professionals as a clinical instructor when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily caters to orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our focus is on delivering personalized rehabilitative care that emphasizes functional movement and pain management. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence through tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy is required, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential.
• Current certification in CPR is mandatory to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years, candidates with experience in advancing rehabilitation practices and utilizing innovative therapeutic techniques will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards in today's healthcare environment is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
