Work Environment

The role is a full-time position, with regular working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Willpower Physical Therapy, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, gathering relevant medical history and performing specific assessments to design tailored treatment plans for individuals with functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, ensuring adaptations are made in response to changes in patient conditions or healthcare guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries, contributing to thorough records that reflect each patient's care continuum.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide holistic care and assure a seamless treatment experience for patients.
• Identify patient needs for additional medical or rehabilitation consultations, promptly modifying care plans to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage with facility operations, participating in team meetings and contributing insights to improve patient access and experience, encompassing both technical assessments and patient feedback.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, state regulations, and corporate training requirements, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and professional integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals needing outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. Your expertise will support patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, guiding them through tailored therapies and helping them regain functional independence. You will play a crucial role in not only treating physical ailments but also in addressing the emotional aspects of recovery, ensuring patients feel empowered throughout their journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist with the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A valid CPR Certificate.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy, demonstrating proficiency in treatment methodologies and patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

While the core qualifications are essential, candidates with additional credentials in manual therapy or specialized therapy techniques will be preferred.
