Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations on patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through established assessment tools and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies addressing both immediate goals and comprehensive communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing proficiency.
• Collaborate harmoniously with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care plans.
• Empower families through education, providing them the knowledge to support their loved ones beyond our clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations, guaranteeing continuity and quality in patient care throughout their treatment recovery.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that aligns with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
• Pursue ongoing learning and skill enhancement by engaging in professional development and peer consultation.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not been achieved.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within thirty days of starting the role.
