Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that address both immediate needs and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver individual speech therapy sessions focusing on enhancing communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, crafting unified care strategies.
• Educate patients and families on how to support progress beyond clinical visits.
• Engage in occasional inpatient assessments and therapy to ensure a seamless care continuum throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain precise documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandated within 30 days of hiring.
