Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, needs, and cultural considerations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in a variety of settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention services and engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure continuous care for patients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Offer psychoeducation sessions to empower clients and their families with tools to manage mental health effectively.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, participating in case conferences and maintaining strong lines of communication to coordinate patient care.

• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust strategies as necessary for improved client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.

• Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and working with multicultural populations will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $84,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
