Security Officer Experienced Patrol

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real estate. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through communication and customer service. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic to support site rules, visitor management practices, and authorized entry procedures. Communicate with management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience. Be 21 or more years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
