Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM; Fri 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and local authorities when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, corridors, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unsecured access points, and report observations according to site protocols. Support mall operations by assisting with guest inquiries, providing directions, documenting incidents, and helping to address security-related concerns involving stores, deliveries, and/or public areas. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
