Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Miami, FL – you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon — 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed — 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur — 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun — 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Support mall and retail operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic during busy periods, and providing courteous assistance during store openings, closings, and/or special events. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
