As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will help support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, a visible presence, and strong customer service. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to respond across assigned areas, assist with security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with guests and teams while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support retail operations by assisting with crowd management, monitoring for after-hours activity, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
