Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points, observe guest and vendor activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or policy violations in high-traffic shopping areas. Support retail operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and remaining visible throughout the location during assigned shifts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
