Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong work-life balance. Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring individualized care.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans aligned with their unique goals, needs, and preferences, and utilize tools such as clinical interviews and standardized assessments.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to empower clients to manage their symptoms effectively and improve their mental health.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge necessary for recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay updated on the latest research and clinical advancements in mood disorders to provide informed and relevant therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, adhering to legal standards and ethical practices while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development activities, contributing to team discussions and sharing insights on best practices in mental health care.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health issues and enhancing awareness of available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work directly with clients facing a spectrum of mood disorders, ranging from mild to severe cases. Our clientele is diverse, reflecting various backgrounds and life experiences, and you will be integral in providing tailored care that respects and aligns with their cultural and personal contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, for managing mood disorders.

• Sound knowledge of psychopharmacology with the capacity to work effectively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams.

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders, with supportive testimonials from clients or peer reviews.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, you will receive:
