Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients using specialized teletherapy software to inform treatment planning.

• Facilitate individualized therapy sessions through video conferencing, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in a virtual format.

• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in regular virtual team meetings to review patient progress, engage in case discussions, and brainstorm strategies for improved therapeutic effectiveness.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer consultations focused on digital counseling best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing various emotional and psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will involve building therapeutic alliances with clients, guiding them through their unique journeys toward mental wellness. Understanding and addressing the cultural context of your clients will be essential in providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in engaging clients through platforms like Zoom or Skype.

• Experience using teletherapy tools and software is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record systems.
