Project CoordinatorHot JobTX Houston Concord - Houston, TX 77040OverviewPosition Type Full TimeDescriptionSummary/Purpose of the Position:The Project Coordinator is responsible for setting up, maintaining, updating, and ensuring projects are progressing towards the determined goals within the allotted time and within the allotted budget. This will be accomplished by working in the Company's established project management system and continually implementing industry best practices. This role will coordinate project meetings and reach out to stakeholders through multiple communication platforms.Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:Work with assigned project owners to determine project scope and objectivesWork with project owners and the PMO team to develop and maintain project plans for assigned projectsWork with project owners and the PMO team to determine resources needed to reach objectivesUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the processDevelop and manage a detailed project schedule and work planAssign tasks and communicate expected deliverablesTrack progress for assigned projects to ensure deadlines and goals are attainedMonitor tasks and timelines and overall project priority to adjust plans as necessaryManage project resources including both internal and external stakeholdersProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholdersElevate concerns and shortcomings to leadership and executive sponsorsEffectively communicate individually and to large groups both in-person and virtuallyTravel to facilitate project meetings as neededPrepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirementsTrack project costs against budgetOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredDegree preferred in business accounting, or related field2+ years' experience with project management processes preferredBusiness Acumen (basic understanding of finance, accounting, marketing, and operations)Detail oriented, persistent, motivated, self-directed, organized, and efficient with time managementExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skillsFocused on results rather than activitiesStrong sense of urgencyExcellent problem-solving skillsAble to acquire working knowledge of the Company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) SystemsProficient in Microsoft ProjectAble to adjust easily to change, prioritize work, and meet deadlinesMicrosoft Project and Excel proficiency is requiredTravel: Willing and Able to travel, 25% of time or as needed for specific projectsPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.This position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; TestEquity does not sponsor applicants for work visas.TestEquity provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
