Sr. Business Development Account Manager

Position Senior Business Development Account Manager — Professional Display Solutions division Responsibilities Sell Sony’s professional display solutions with a focus on direct view CLED systems, Pro Bravia Displays, Business Projectors, and SRG Camera solutions products. Manage a pipeline and work projects through the entire sales process, collaborating with authorized system integrators and ultimately achieving assigned sales quota. Lead large/strategic projects with integrators, strategic alliance partners, and/or end users that include other Sony products. Drive engagement with identified AV consultants in the Western half of the U.S., strengthening existing relationships and recruiting new consultant partners. Develop and deliver technical and sales proposals, manage complex sales processes, and build senior‑level trust to uncover business transformation opportunities within various vertical markets. Manage opportunities through Salesforce.com, forecast sales, conduct sales analysis, and execute strategic sales go‑to‑market plans. Participate in company trade shows, customer on‑site demonstrations, roadshows, demo center demonstrations, seminars, symposiums, and conferences as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. At least 7 years of related sales experience, preferably involving professional display products into verticals such as corporate, education, retail, transportation, visualization, simulation, and entertainment. Strong project‑based sales skills and comfort fostering customer relationships in the aforementioned vertical markets. Solid business planning, excellent oral and written communication, and professional presentation skills. Ability to travel 60% of the time. High‑level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and experience with Salesforce.com. Preferred Skills Ability to quickly understand and analyze sales data. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM tool. Consistent track record for exceeding company expectations. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated base pay range: $84,420 to $112,560. Eligible for a sales incentive plan with variations based on individual and company performance. Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, 401(k) plan with matching contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance, 80 hours of paid sick leave, and up to 12 weeks paid parental leave.
