Work Environment

Your work setting will be onsite in our outpatient office, where you will interact directly with patients and collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals. The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a consistent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique goals and needs of each patient effectively, creating tailored treatment strategies.
• Manage a patient schedule of one individual per hour, ensuring quality interaction and care consistency.
• Employ evidence-based methods to develop comprehensive care plans, integrating various therapeutic techniques for optimal outcomes.
• Provide effective, cost-efficient treatment interventions designed to improve motion capabilities and help patients regain functional independence.
• Minimize the reliance on medication by implementing non-surgical alternatives that address pain and mobility issues.
• Encourage patient engagement in their recovery by motivating them through challenging treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document progress meticulously, evaluating treatment outcomes to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Work hand-in-hand with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches that benefit the patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with primarily include individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. They may range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults seeking rehabilitation post-surgery or due to chronic conditions. Your expertise will be vital in helping these patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and restore their strength, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey state license for physical therapy without any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to construct effective rehabilitation exercise plans.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to facilitate patient documentation and follow-up care.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired. This includes a proven track record of developing individualized therapeutic programs and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and caregivers alike.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
