About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Mergers and Acquisitions to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the formulation of inorganic growth strategies and will lead the identification, development, and execution of strategic opportunities, including equity investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the payment and technology industry, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market and competitive trends. The Vice President will be responsible for leading high-priority strategic projects, generating new growth ideas, and partnering with business executives to align M&A and investment activities with the company's overall strategy. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or CPA preferred, and a strong background in M&A, corporate development, or management consulting. The role requires extensive project management, problem-solving, and planning skills, as well as the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive-level relationship building, strong analytical skills, and experience in financial modeling, accounting, and valuation. Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business partners are essential. The role also involves talent development, including recruiting, coaching, and mentoring junior resources within the strategy and corporate development team.
