Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities upon referral from physicians.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs addressing individual patient needs, with a focus on rehabilitation for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and facilitating recovery, while adhering to evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies for at-home care.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and enhance overall client outcomes.
• Contribute to the clinic's business objectives by meeting minimum utilization goals while maintaining excellent patient service standards.
• Regularly maintain accurate patient documentation to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a varied demographic, including patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, young athletes with sports-related injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and patients needing rehabilitation after neurological impairments. Understanding the unique aspects of each patient's condition and crafting individualized treatment plans will be crucial in helping them achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) being preferred.
• A valid and active state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient or hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health records systems to support documentation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
