Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Fairview, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Directing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, reduce pain, and restore muscle function.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities through a variety of diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans based on the patient's progress and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Training and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they deliver care effectively and adhere to established protocols.
• Documenting clinical notes and care plans accurately, including maintaining compliance with standards such as the OASIS assessment and progress notes.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively discuss patient care strategies and treatment outcomes.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families on the use of therapeutic devices and the overall rehabilitation process.
• Ensuring timely submission of documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients ranging from post-operative recovery cases to those requiring ongoing support for conditions such as arthritis or degenerative joint disease. This role requires a compassionate approach, as well as the capability to motivate and empower patients in their healing journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current, valid licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with appropriate automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in physical therapy principles and techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required for effective patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care or home care setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
