Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in the comprehensive assessment of clients, leveraging psychosocial evaluations to develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Provide clinical interventions and therapeutic counseling for emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored for diverse populations.

• Maintain meticulous records, including clinical and progress notes, ensuring compliance with departmental policy and enhancing client care.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health care team to establish effective discharge plans and treatment protocols that align with both therapeutic goals and client needs.

• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies for patients, ensuring their immediate safety and developing longer-term coping strategies.

• Communicate and coordinate with family members and support systems, providing education about treatment options and support resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, providing services that address their unique psychosocial challenges. This includes adapting therapeutic approaches to reflect the cultural, social, and developmental contexts of each student, ensuring that care is holistic and responsive to the diverse needs of families within the school community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted LICSW licensure in Washington State.
\n
• A minimum of three years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services.
\n
• Proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records, word processing, spreadsheets, and email software.
\n
• Comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions.
\n
• An ability to effectively engage with clients of all ages is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in a school-based setting or with children facing emotional and behavioral challenges will be advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
