Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health status and identify their specific needs.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural considerations.

• Provide regular counseling sessions focusing on psychological support for clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Foster a trusting therapeutic relationship by actively listening to clients, validating their experiences, and equipping them with coping strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate patient records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all regulations and confidentiality protocols.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and contribute to organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and serious substance use issues. Our clients often come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and therapists must demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in their therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of four years of direct mental health counseling experience in diverse settings.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based practices, and inclusive therapeutic techniques.

• Proven skills in crisis intervention and the ability to act effectively in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
