Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings throughout the therapeutic process, from initial consultations to treatment completion.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs and preferences of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic interventions to foster client engagement and healing.

• Continuously monitor and assess clients’ progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to support optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers, to develop integrated intervention plans that enhance client care.

• Proactively manage referrals and coordinate services with community resources, ensuring clients have access to the support they need.

• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges, promoting a system-wide approach to well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve helping clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and addiction. By applying clinical knowledge and empathetic communication, you will guide clients on their paths to recovery, facilitating personal growth and emotional resilience in both individual and group contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong grasp of telehealth practices and experience with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with a capacity to build rapport and work effectively with diverse populations.
\n
• In-depth understanding of physical health conditions and the impact of medication prescribed by healthcare providers on mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

• Experience working with addiction disorders and knowledge of recovery strategies.

• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, active listening, and an ability to provide compassionate counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
