This position is located in our outpatient office, allowing for face-to-face interactions with patients. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Heal & Revive Chiro Clinic, your responsibilities include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment focused on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring functional capabilities according to personalized care plans.
• Assessing patient conditions through diagnostic evaluations and tailoring treatment protocols to maximize outcomes.
• Supervising and mentoring physical therapy assistants to ensure that services are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Conducting home evaluations to optimize rehabilitation processes and recommending necessary adaptations to enhance patient independence.
• Administering physical therapy modalities including therapeutic exercises, traction, and manual therapy interventions, always maintaining a patient-first approach.
• Consistently observing, recording, and communicating changes in patients' conditions to appropriate healthcare team members.
• Participating in care plan development and execution, ensuring accuracy in clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Leading interdisciplinary case conferences to collaboratively design and assess comprehensive treatment strategies for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pain patients, and elderly clients needing enhanced mobility and strength. You will work to develop customized rehabilitation strategies that reflect each patient's unique needs and personal health goals, thus directly contributing to improved quality of life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist in Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence and the integrity of patient care.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy, candidates with a background in acute care or home care settings will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records and adherence to federal and state regulations will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
