This full-time remote position will allow you to provide critical mental health services, focusing primarily on divorce and relationship counseling to clients across Washington state.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the unique goals and values of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage their emotions and improve their interpersonal relationships.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of our clients.

• Stay well-informed on the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance your practice and patient outcomes.

• Maintain thorough, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to further support your growth and our collective mission.

• Advocate for clients by raising awareness about the stigmas attached to mental health issues and facilitating their access to needed services.

Our clientele includes individuals and families experiencing challenges related to mood disorders and relational difficulties, particularly those navigating divorce and significant life transitions. You will be working with a diverse population representing various backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, which enriches the therapeutic process and fosters a greater understanding of community mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Demonstrable ability to build a secure and effective therapeutic alliance with clients, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Empathetic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and struggles.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to effectively balance therapeutic responsibilities and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, transgenerational therapy, or communication therapy.

• Previous work experience in community health settings and with diverse populations is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling practices will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
