Our work hours are typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours required based on appointment schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, specifically identifying co-occurring disorders to facilitate tailored treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions to effectively address both mental health and substance use issues.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients build essential coping skills, devise relapse prevention strategies, and enhance emotional regulation.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, coordinating care with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to deliver integrated and holistic treatment approaches.

• Monitor substance use regularly and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to effectively support clients through their recovery journeys.

• Offer educational resources to clients and their families regarding the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment compliance.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies relevant to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

• A strong understanding of the connections between mental health and substance use disorders and the challenges faced by affected individuals.

Preferred Experience\n
