This full-time position allows for flexibility, as you will be working remotely in a supportive outpatient office setting. Our typical work schedule extends from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the developmental stages of each patient and incorporate family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to guide parents and caregivers in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with our team of child psychiatrists to ensure that care is coordinated and focused on the holistic well-being of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support in situations where immediate mental health assistance is necessary for young patients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and helpful community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while adhering to legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, professional development sessions, and case consultations to enhance service delivery and therapeutic outcomes.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health, continuously improving your therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18, who are dealing with a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in recognizing and addressing the unique issues facing these young individuals, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with children and adolescents.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment practices, and various therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and family therapy effectively, establishing rapport and trust with young clients and their families.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate, child-centered approach.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Though a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, play therapy, or cognitive-behavioral therapy are highly valued. Experience working with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
