This role operates primarily in a telehealth environment, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still engaging deeply with clients. Our team is available seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, providing a flexible schedule that accommodates your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and the enhancement of client resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address clients' unique needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and advance their healing journeys.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to support client care and treatment efficacy.

• Engage in clinical case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform your treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Insight Therapy, you will primarily serve individuals facing trauma-related challenges and mental health disorders. Our diverse client population includes adults and adolescents from various backgrounds, presenting a wide range of trauma experiences. We are particularly focused on assisting clients in processing traumatic events and fostering resilience, thereby promoting holistic healing and mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
