You will be interfacing directly with clients through virtual therapy sessions, utilizing our secure electronic health record systems for documentation and management of client information. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for clients, interpreting and documenting findings comprehensively from initial consultation through to treatment conclusion.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans based on individual client needs, ensuring that these plans reflect current best practices in psychotherapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address diverse client issues.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to their recovery plans as necessary to foster successful outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and address any complex patient needs.

• Manage referrals to other specialists and follow up with hospital staff regarding clients who may require inpatient treatment.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, enhancing the overall treatment plan.
\n
• Identify behaviors that may delay or impede recovery, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your client base will encompass people dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction disorders. Your role is vital in creating a safe space for clients to express their concerns and work towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Successful completion and passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly experience with AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and experience in implementing therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
\n
• Strong empathetic and interpersonal skills that allow you to connect and support clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, dealing with a range of psychological issues and treatment modalities.

• Knowledge of addiction counseling practices and experience with clients facing dual diagnoses.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Understanding of the effects of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical specialists.
