Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient

What You'll Do

Psychiatric/Mental Health RNs at our inpatient hospital in Minneapolis are responsible for managing the care of adolescent patients and/or young adult patients experiencing psychiatric/mental health disorders. Key responsibilities include:

Administering psychosocial, physical, and behavioral assessments related to specific conditions and providing individualized interventions based on these assessments
Monitoring patients' daily functioning and assisting in mental health symptom management
Communicating with patients and families using curiosity, compassion, and active listening
Providing care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient's developmental age and to the patient's and family's diversity
Tracking and sharing confidential medical and psychiatric information, verbally and in written documentation
Administering medications and performing interventions such as including lab draws, EKG, UDS, Genesight, and HcG testing

What Makes You a Great Fit

Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree (BSN is preferred, current licensure as an RN with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing is required.)

Facility with basic computer skills using Microsoft Office products and HER

Compensation Range: $37.92 to $58.68 depending on education and experience

Additional Details

32 hours a week with AM / PM shift rotation with every other weekend
