Key Responsibilities\n

• Offer counseling and crisis intervention to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, conducting assessments to identify individual needs.

• Maintain open communication with physicians and other healthcare team members, providing updates on patient progress and any emerging issues.

• Document clinical interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational policies, ensuring compliant progress notes are completed in a timely manner.

• Participate actively in the collaborative treatment plan development, including the discharge planning process, based on thorough psychosocial assessments.

• Develop and foster relationships with community leaders and resource groups, representing Shirley Mental Health Services at meetings and committees that address social needs benefiting our patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with adults dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use-related issues. You will provide individualized treatment plans that consider the unique circumstances of each patient, enhancing their pathways to recovery and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• Possession of a valid independent license such as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have expertise in telehealth services and experience working with diverse populations. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health disorders will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
