Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals, families, and groups, tailoring interventions based on the unique needs presented by clients.

• Assess and respond to crisis situations, ensuring that each client receives immediate care and referrals to additional services as necessary.

• Conduct initial assessments, formulating diagnoses based on the DSM V standards, and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

• Provide education and training on various clinical topics for team members and the broader community, enhancing overall knowledge and best practices within the organization.

• Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless care coordination.
\n
• Supervise and mentor Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to create comprehensive care plans that address co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a particular focus on maternal clients and those from medically underserved communities. Your work will involve assessing and addressing complex mental health needs, providing not only therapeutic interventions but also support systems that promote overall wellness and resilience. Your contribution will help improve the health outcomes and quality of life for those who may have limited access to mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent professional license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial caseload while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and other health-related technologies.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and brief therapy models.

• A passion for community mental health, with previous experience working in similar settings being highly desirable.
