Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our community health clinic's support system. You will operate Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with complete flexibility in crafting your schedule. We offer a non-on-call environment, ensuring that you can maintain balance while delivering high-quality care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and unique needs, ensuring thorough documentation for all cases.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are both achievable and aligned with each client's therapeutic goals, drawing from their assessment findings.
\n
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress in therapy, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted as per the evolving needs and feedback of the clients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals – including psychiatrists and primary care physicians – to provide coordinated and comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.

• Advocate for your clients’ access to mental health services, ensuring their rights are upheld and they have access to necessary resources in the community.

• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of client information per regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will service a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your empathy and understanding will assist clients from various backgrounds as they navigate their unique challenges and work towards achieving their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, as well as a sound understanding of psychopharmacology.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

• A proven track record in delivering successful therapy outcomes and a strong understanding of treatment for mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
