Although the setting is remote, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with healthcare providers, therapists, and nurses located in our hospice center in Bakersfield, California. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our hospice program, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized therapeutic support and counseling to clients and their families, addressing their emotional and psychosocial needs during the hospice experience.

• Advocating for clients by facilitating access to community resources, social services, and support systems aimed at improving their quality of life.

• Delivering immediate crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring clients’ emotional safety and stability, especially in high-stress situations.

• Maintaining detailed, accurate, and confidential client records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
