Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and maintain complete documentation from the first consultation through to the final stages of treatment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, using evidence-based methods to develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, implementing therapeutic techniques that resonate with clients’ unique needs.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decisions.
\n
• Collaborate closely with fellow mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to design effective intervention strategies for complex cases.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatric specialists and attending physicians regarding clients hospitalized for acute care, ensuring continuity and coordination of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing proactive support to clients and their families.
\n
• Educate and assist family members and primary caregivers in managing behavioral health challenges, enhancing the support network for clients.

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Colorado.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for documentation and case management.
\n
• Familiarity with co-occurring disorders and the treatment of concurrent physical and mental health conditions.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health treatment.

• Background in integrative therapy approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Ability to navigate complex cases involving medication management and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
