Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Storm Search Sr. Executive Recruiter/Manager of Research and Technology at Storm Search - Your Trusted Advisor Business Development Manager – Industrial Construction & Emerging Technologies This position is focused on expanding the company’s visibility and engagement within rapidly evolving sectors such as semiconductors, electric vehicles, batteries, synthetic materials, and data centers . Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will play a key role in supporting long-term strategic growth by identifying and cultivating new client relationships, managing strategic pursuits, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current and future market conditions in emerging industries. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan targeting strategic growth sectors. Prospect and engage new clients while expanding relationships with existing accounts. Represent the company at industry events and actively participate in professional organizations. Maintain and manage contacts, leads, and opportunities within a CRM system. Lead proposal efforts, including approach development, schedule coordination, team alignment, and production in collaboration with marketing, estimating, and operations teams. Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused culture where all voices are valued. Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and trends. Facilitate meetings between client decision-makers and internal stakeholders. Support data accuracy and updates across CRM datasets (contacts, companies, leads, competitors, etc.). Stay actively involved in local, state, and national industry associations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more target industries (semiconductors, EV, synthetic materials, data centers, etc.); 10+ years preferred. Proven network and established relationships in relevant industrial markets. Strong understanding of client challenges and the ability to offer tailored solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience. CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not required).
