Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients based on their individual goals.

• Utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in their recovery.

• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups, encouraging community engagement and shared experiences.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while complying with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

• Actively communicate with our team of Clinical Operations to collaborate on best practices and improve service delivery.

• Encourage clients to explore available community recovery support options, including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery, while engaging in treatment.

• Participate in ongoing training and obtain continuing education unit (CEU) credits annually, with costs covered by the company.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Better Living, you will engage primarily with individuals seeking support for their relationship with alcohol. These clients may range from those wanting moderation strategies to those seeking complete abstinence. Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in California.

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
