Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, reflecting their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective intervention.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding mood disorders, available treatment options, and promoting effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practices.

• Maintain confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, including highs and lows associated with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele includes diverse backgrounds, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role will be pivotal in addressing their unique mental health challenges and contributing to their pathways toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
