Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques, fostering a deeper understanding of their conditions.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients are involved in vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and individuals impacted by domestic abuse. The therapist's role is pivotal in offering tailored support, fostering resilience, and guiding clients toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) state license is mandatory.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
