Business Development Representative

divh2Sales Representative/h2pThis position is responsible for developing relationships with current and future customers in a given territory to achieve success in selling ISECs products and services. They must have a successful track record in closing customer contracts, developing strategic customer relationships and leadership in all sales activities./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliResponsible for achieving regional sales, profit and revenue goals and objectives./liliResponsible for driving client relationships sales for ISEC scopes of work including, but not limited to: laboratory furniture, doors, frames and hardware, specialties, architectural woodwork, ornamental metals, and medical equipment projects targeting private, industrial, college/university, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech and government markets./liliNetwork with and develop clients through meetings, industry events and participation in local construction affiliations./liliDelivers outstanding customer service which includes responding effectively to customer requests, resolving issues, and meeting all commitments in a timely manner./liliUtilizes market data, trends and forecasting to qualify project leads./liliPrepare and deliver formal Sales presentations to clients./liliFacilitate bid proposal and document controls throughout the sales life cycle and provide proper turnover to estimating and operations./liliDevelop an overall sales strategy by assessing project risks, logistics, contract documents, vendors, subcontractors and competitors./liliProven track record of executing all steps to develop and close large contracts./liliDevelop and communicate strategies utilizing internal teams to minimize risk and maximize profit and closure opportunities./liliPrepare and finalize bid proposals to clients./liliNegotiate on ISECs behalf for the best possible contract terms./liliProvide pre-construction architectural assistance and budget support to clients./liliPerform all necessary project follow-up, status tracking, closure and price recaps./liliAbility to travel as necessary./li/ulh3Other Duties/h3pPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice./ph3Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)/h3h3Education/Experience/h3ulliBachelors degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or equivalent/lili3-5 years experience meeting or exceeding sales goals/liliExperience with construction sales or related fields/liliHas an established network of General Contractors/li/ulpKnowledge/Skills/pulliExtensive knowledge of ISEC product lines/liliExcellent track record of negotiating, relationship building and closing construction sales opportunities/liliDeveloping the ability to close, estimate and negotiate work independently/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3h3Education/Experience/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of Construction experience or experience in a related field/liliGeneral Construction or specific subcontracting construction knowledge./li/ulh3Knowledge/Skills/h3ulliProven relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal skills/liliStrong presentation and communication skills/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliExcellent organizational and time management skills/liliStrong computer skills including Excel, Word, Bluebeam and PowerPoint./liliMust be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as a team member/li/ulh3Customer Service Skills:/h3ulliDemonstrates commitment to deliver outstanding service both with internal and external customers/liliTakes ownership to personally resolve customer problems (or find someone who can)/liliListens well, asks clarifying questions, and checks for agreement with customers/liliCommitted to following-up with customers in all instances in a timely manner/liliStrong sense of accountability - ensures that you will do what you say that you are going to do/liliCreates a personal connection with customers smiles, warm greetings, acts friendly and respectful/liliPositive attitude/li/ul/div
