Premier Health and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position within our rehabilitation facility located in Trenton, New Jersey. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Trenton, NJ. Our supportive and collaborative environment fosters teamwork among healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs and optimize clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and functionality for each patient.
• Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities designed to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on appropriate body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens to facilitate effective recovery.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to support treatment goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional performance.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring all needed equipment and supplies are in order and ready for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere by providing emotional encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain high standards of ethical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality while upholding their rights and dignity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or dealing with neurological disorders. Your tailored approach will cater to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, ensuring that their rehabilitation experiences are personalized and effective.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
